Upcoming game away to Droitwich is not the easist of places to go to correct our current form.
It’s been a funny season so far, losing games we have dominated but like last season goals count. Goals win matches and we have not been scoring many and with players out at the back we have been conceding far too many. Questions have been asked and we feel it came to a head with our very very poor performance against Coton Green. The league positions don’t lie and you are where you deserve to be. But after some very deep reflecting and conversations with squad we feel the squad is good enough to correct this. It’s nice to have Cam Day back with us and then add into that Walsall loan keeper George Barrett we are also close to getting our fullbacks back as well. We moved a few lads on as well which freed up space to bring in couple of new lads. From the game against Chelmsley which the first half we were on fire. This was again a glimpse of what we are about. Pleasing to score 3 goals, disappointed as normal to concede 2 but we won it was a cup match so means we go through. So on reflection winning 3 games and drawing 1 is just not what we expected out of 13 games. Time to start picking wins up as we all know, win 3 or 4 games in this league moves you mid table but we still feel this squad should do better and now we have players back and added we feel a much more positive reaction. A very tough 7 games coming up, but as always if asked we want max points. We wouldn’t turn up to games if we didnt want to win so it’s roll up sleeves time and hardwork as we feel it’s just not good enough so far. Come on the bears!
