Dainty is Back, Dainty is Back…

The Paget Rangers directors are pleased to announce that the Bears Life President, Matthew Dainty, has accepted our offer return to his club, Paget Rangers, as Chairman. All of the directors are excited to have Matt back in the role of Chairman after a two year absence and firmly believe he is the right person help us to continue our aim of growing the club.
Having reformed the club in 2011 and having nine years of previous experience of leading the club as chairman, the Directors feel he is the right person to act as the Spokesperson and ‘Figure Head’ of the club. His main role will be to advise and help the Directors and Club Officials to run the organisation under its present structure.

Matthew said, “I’m happy to have been given the opportunity to return and to help out with the continued progress of the club at an exciting time in it’s development. Paget Rangers has always been in mine and my family’s blood and after discussions with the directors, I felt now was the right time to return. I am personally looking forward to getting my teeth into the role and building upon the solid foundations that the club has. The club has a highly ambitious and exciting future and the formation of a new board in the last couple of weeks will provide the structure we need to elevate the club to where we all want it to be. We want this club to be progressive, innovative, inclusive and successful, providing a pathway for boys and girls into the adult game, but most of all we want it to be enjoyable.

Matthew  will work alongside the existing club officials who will be staying in post:

Vice Chairman – Richard Hunt
Club Secretary – Matt Green
Matchday Secretary – Daniel Smith
Juniors Chairman – James Parker
Club Treasurer & Juniors Secretary – Michelle Parker
Club President – Tony Bradley

Club President Tony Bradley commented “It is not often that we are able to unveil such a fantastic signing for the Club on deadline day. Matthew’s pedigree in Midlands non league football needs no introduction and to have him back on board with us here at Paget is truly great news for the Club.”
